The UAP Anti-Vandal 300mm/12" letterplate comes with both an external and internal flap to protect your home, measuring 40-80mm for composite and wooden doors.

The cavity hole dimension to drill into your customers door in order for the 12" Framemaster letterplate to fit is 250mm x 39.75mm.

On the UAP Framemaster 12" Letterplate there are many features that you won't find on standard letterplates. This includes the trademarked Anti-Vandal facility. Each year house fires are started by vandals putting fireworks through letterplates. The UAP 12" Framemaster Letterplate has outward facing brushes which will give you 3 great benefits:

1. Having brushes on the front of the door acts as a visual to deter vandals. They'll see the internal cavity is not easily accessible, which makes it a lot harder to put lit fireworks etc. into the cavity.

2. It is easier for postmen to slot letters though the brushes - no more crinkled letters!

3. The brushes stop draughts at the point of entry - making the letterplate draught-proof.

The letterplate flap can open up to 180 degrees, meaning it shouldn't snap. Many letterplates on the market only open to 90 degrees, and when too much force is applies lifting the flap up, it causes them to snap off. The ultra-fexible springs means that this UAP letterplate can withstand thousands of openings without breaking, making it last even longer. There's also an internal water seal that prevents water getting into the door or panel, which stops letters getting wet as they are posted though - it also helps to prevent the flaps from pitting or rusting.
